Chris started his career in aviation industry in 1997. He joined Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in 2006, worked in various departments with extensive airport management experience. He was seconded to Zhuhai Airport as Assistant General Manager from 2015 
 2018.  He was appointed as Assistant General Manager - Smart Airport at AAHK in Jan 2018 leading the team of future travel experience.

Dr Andreas Matthias is teaching philosophy at Lingnan University, Hong Kong. His main area of research is the philosophy of technology and robot ethics. Relevant publications include:

Dr. Peter Kwan set up Expert System Company Ltd in 1982 and joined Legend Holdings Group in 1992 while working as CEO till 1997.

Peter joined China INFOBANK Limited, the largest private owned Chinese digital content provider, as Executive Vice President in 1997. Peter deeply involved in the designs of Data products by applying state of art Data Mining and Visualization technology. Peter established strategic relationship with international news group like Financial Times, Reuters and Dow Jones.

Peter also awarded as the Fellow of Hong Kong Computer Society and Chairman of Big Data committee Smart City Consortium. He also served as a member of both the Court and Convocation Standing Committee of The University of Hong Kong.

Peter develops Big Data analytic consultancy and training in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Mainland. He is now COO of Big Data Architect Ltd.

Presentation Topic: Geospatial Big Data Fuels Smart Hong Kong

Sr. Paul Tsui is the Managing Director of Esri China (Hong Kong) Limited. Esri is the world leader of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping software. Prior to joining Esri, he worked in Ordnance Survey, the national mapping agency of the United Kingdom. Paul has been appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Geography Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Baptist University since 2013. As a professional, he is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and a Registered Professional Surveyor (Land Surveying) in Hong Kong. In  the academic  and research aspect, Paul is the author and co-author of many GIS research papers published in authoritative international refereed journals and conference proceedings. He also won the 1998 Best Paper Award held by the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Science (CPGIS). Paul holds a degree of Master of Philosophy in GIS.

Tim Lin is the senior director of business development for Appier, a leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) company which aims to provide AI platforms to help enterprises solve their most challenging business problems. In this role, Tim is responsible for developing growth strategies and maintaining robust sales in the region.  

Prior to Appier, Tim was general manager at OB Design, one of Taiwan's leading fast fashion online retailers. Before that, he was with Yahoo and Synnex Technology, where he oversaw the Taiwan market strategy.

Tim has a master’s degree in Journalism from National Taiwan University, and an undergraduate degree in English from National Central University, Taiwan.
