Introduction
This one-day knowledge transfer conference is designed and organized by Lingnan University in collaboration with the Smart City Consortium (SCC) to elicit maximum involvement in a constructive atmosphere. It aims at experience and expertise sharing to further delve into the valued big data as the critical driver for smart city development in the modern and innovative world and to explore technologies which could be practically applied in solving our day-to-day city problems. It seeks to create a perfect networking environment where esteemed scholars, data scientists, technologists, researchers, developers, vendors, big-data deploying companies and SMEs could meet together to progress big data analytics for different community sectors of Hong Kong, making it a genuine smart city in Asia.
